55000 US Diversity Visa Program (DV-2024). If you ever want to live, get education or do your business in the USA, you can apply for the DV Program 2024 starting from October 6, 2022, to get American green card.
The United States Government grants 55,000 permanent resident cards (green cards) each year to individuals from other countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. The Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery was established in the 1996 Immigration Act by the United States Congress to diversify the American population. The program is called the “Green Card Lottery” or “DVLottery” because the winners are determined through a random drawing from among the 10–12 million people who enter each year worldwide. To qualify for the DV Lottery this year, applicants must meet two specific requirements.
Note, this year’s (2022) DV Lottery is called the DV-2024 Lottery, where 2024 is the year, the winners may enter the United States on their new permanent resident card that they won in this year’s DV Lottery. Most individuals 18 years and older worldwide, qualify to enter the DV Lottery.
These Diversity visas are distributed overall continent of the world:
Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, Oceania, and South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Each year, the DV lottery registration is available for a specific period of time. The DV Lottery 2024 is started on October 6, 2022 and will end on November 9, 2022.
Who is eligible to apply for the DV Lottery?
- Born in eligible countries (or his/her spouse born in eligible countries)
- Have at least high school education (12 years) / two years of work experience (at least in last 5 years)
Note, you only need to provide proof of education or work experience and country of birth if you are selected. Therefore, we do not require this information in the application form for the DV2024 Lottery that you will fill out after successful registration.

If you are born in one of the countries in the following table, then you are excluded from entering the DV-2024 Lottery

Note, that United Kingdom includes the following dependent areas: Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Pitcairn, St. Helena, and Turks and Caicos Islands. Note, natives born in Northern Ireland do qualify to enter the DV Lottery.
Persons born in the Gaza Strip are chargeable to Egypt for the DV Lottery this year.
Persons born in Macau SAR, and Taiwan are also eligible to enter the DV2024 Lottery.
Natives from all other countries may register for this years DV Lottery, the DV2024 Lottery.
The DV Lottery-2024 Photo Requirements

You can apply online by filling the online application form that is available only on the DV lottery official Website.
We strongly encourage you to complete the entry form without a ‘Visa Consultant’, ‘Visa Agent’ or other facilitator assisting you. If someone helps you, you must be present when anyone prepares your entry so that you can answer the questions correctly and retain your unique confirmation number and printout of your confirmation page. It is very important to keep a printout of your confirmation page and your unique confirmation number. Unscrupulous visa facilitators keep printing out the confirmation page to help entrants, and then demand more money in exchange for a confirmation number. Without this information, you will not be able to access the online system that informs you of your login status. Be careful if someone offers to keep this information for you. You must also have access to the email account listed on your E-DV entry.
Result announcements:
The result of U.S.A Diversity Visa (DV) 2024 will be announced on May 7th, 2023, at noon US time.
